In electric drive, none of that applies. The motor isn't spinning, you're not burning fuel or energy, and there's nothing to worry about. Just sit and wait for green.

Electric motors deliver their power immediately — no lag, no waiting for the revs to build. When you need to change lanes or pull away quickly in traffic, it's there. The BMW 2002 came to us with a tired old automatic gearbox that was, to put it generously, anything but responsive. We called it "traumatic." That problem no longer exists.
